INHERITANCE ISSUES

Upon the passing of a loved one who owned property in Spain, the heirs designated in the Will need to appear before a Notary Public to sign the needed Deeds of Acceptance of the Inheritance, thus placing in their names all the property that belonged to the deceased (real estate, bank accounts, vehicles etc). Our law office will calculate the costs involved and tax liability as well as guidance and personal assistance through all the necessary steps.

YOUR SPANISH WILL

If you own property in Spain it is very important to make a Spanish Will before a Notary Public designating to whom you wish to bequeath the property. Once the Will is done, it is registered in a centralized office, so there is always a record easily accessible of where and when the last Will was signed. Making a Spanish Will makes the process for your heirs a lot simpler. Please contact our office for guidance and a cost estimate.
